In 1971, I started making things for local bands
As my reputation for craftsmanship spread, I "passed the audition" and got paid to build stuff for local sound companies
As time went on, I worked with more and more sound companies, radio stations, contractors, accousticians and disco builders
I finally ended up building stuff for just about everybody in San Diego involved with sound or music
Very few of the products were photographed
One side of a sound system built for Sound West
Another system built for Sound West
And it's ad
Broadcast console built for KGB Radio, San Diego. Note the cutout panel that matches the grain pattern. This is harder than it looks
Production studio furniture, built for a local producer/DJ
A challenging speaker cabinet, built for a local sound contractor
MP with speaker cabinets
Another studio console
A "chopped" Hammond organ made for a local musician
Chopped organs were much more road-worthy than the original home models
Custom sax rig on stage
Band on stage with lots of my products

I made lots of carpet covered speaker cabinets. Indoor-outdoor carpet was a very durable material for road gear
A light table for a photo studio
Round desk for a production company
Wall Unit for a production company
Note the curved, sliding doors
Another desk for a production company
Cassette racks
Another light table for a photo studio
A tape cabinet for a production studio
I built all of the desks for a radio station business office
